About Peterboro Street Elementary School

PSES is located in the heart of the village and houses Pre-K, kindergarten, first and second grades in our beautiful, historical building. We currently have two full-day sections of Pre-K, with a half-day (morning only) option for 3 year olds. Kindergarten is a full-day program and we have four sections this year, along with four sections of both first grade and second grade. Our combined population is around 275 students.

We are very fortunate to have wonderful students, a caring and dedicated professional staff and supportive parents and caregivers who work together to create a positive learning community. We are thankful for our active and generous PSES/SSES PTA that provides countless resources and opportunities for our P-4 population. We strive to create safe, comfortable teaching and learning environments where children feel they belong and where academic, social and emotional needs can be addressed.
