Hello Everyone!
Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year! My name is Daphne Tully and I will be working with kindergarten and first grade students receiving speech and language services this year. This will be my fourth year at Peterboro Street, however, my tenth year in Canastota in all, as I have previously worked with students at Roberts Street and the Junior High School. Prior to working with Canastota Central School District, I spent the first 20 or so years (yikes!) of my career with preschool and kindergarten-aged students. I am looking forward to beginning this new school year!
I live in Cicero with my husband. We have 2 wonderful daughters, both of whom have "left our nest". I enjoy spending time outdoors, gardening, hiking, and cycling. We spend most of our free time in the 1000 Islands region, boating and relaxing during the summer. What an enjoyable summer we have had!
I typically begin the year by gathering data, meeting the students, assessing needs, evaluating performance when necessary, and by grouping students accordingly. Your child’s speech schedule will be finalized within the next few weeks, and services will begin in the middle of September. I will send schedule information home at that time.
