About Miss Woodruff
I joined  the Canastota community this year as a full-time music teacher. I  am currently teaching general music for students in K-3 at both Peterburo and South Side schools. I also teach 4-6 grade chorus at Roberts Street.  I received my bachelors degree in Music Education from SUNY Fredonia where I specialized in the oboe. While in Fredonia I was a committee member for Colleges Against Cancer all four years helping to organize Relay for Life on our campus each year.  I received my masters degree in Music Education from Nazareth College where I also specialized in the oboe.  While completing my masters degree I  taught  general music, band and chorus for grades K-6 in the Rochester City School District.  I then found my way to Syracuse and taught general music and chorus in the Syracuse City School District. I am so happy to have found my way to Canastota!

In my free time I enjoy hiking and running with my dog bongo! I also love game nights with my family (I'm VERY competitive). I'm a huge Syracuse Basketball and Buffalo Bills fan!
